Each child is unique. Every brain is SenseSational. Our job is to work alongside you to understand how your child's brain works, work with it instead of against it, and build a family life that actually fits.

Our parent coaching program is led by doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) — clinicians with advanced training in child development, learning, and behavior science. That expertise matters, but it isn't the point. The point is what it does for you: clear answers instead of guesswork, and the confidence to handle the next hard moment without calling anyone first.

Our team is neurodiverse ourselves, and several of us are raising neurodivergent kids at home. We're not coaching from a textbook. We're living this too.

We believe in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) when it's done right — with respect, warmth, and your child's voice at the center. But we don't stop there. We coordinate with the occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, teachers, and specialists already in your corner, so every strategy pulls in the same direction.

We're based in Okemos, right outside Lansing, and we work with families all across Michigan — from Owosso to Muskegon and everywhere between — plus parents around the world through secure virtual sessions. Wherever you're logging in from, the coaching is the same: real time with a doctoral-level BCBA who knows your family by name.
Coaching from clinicians who've spent a career studying this.
Expertise matters.
There's a lot of parenting advice on the internet. Very little of it comes from someone with doctoral training in education, over a decade of experience and education in behavior analysis, and years of hands-on clinical work with neurodivergent children and their families.
Every family in our program works directly with a doctoral-level BCBA. Not an intake coordinator, not a tech following a script — the clinician who designs your plan is the one sitting with you while you use it. We read the research so you don't have to, then translate it into something you can actually do on a Tuesday night when everyone is tired.
We are here to give you parenting tools.

You get the reasoning, not just the instruction
We explain why a strategy works so you can adapt it the next time the situation is a little different — because it always is.
Your plan is built for your family, not a template
Two children with the same diagnosis need two different plans. We assess before we recommend.
You leave more capable than you came
The goal isn't a longer relationship with us. It's a parent who trusts their own judgment. We're guides, not permanent fixtures.
Our Approach
Confident parenting starts with you.
Every kid deserves someone in their corner who truly sees them. We give you the knowledge and skills to show up for your child with confidence and ease — so you can be the calm, steady advocate they need, wherever they go. Whatever makes your child who they are, we build strategies that support them, never ones that ask them to hide it.
1
You've got a whole team cheering for you.
OT, speech therapy, school, us — everyone talks. We plug into the providers you already trust and love, so your child's plan holds up everywhere they go, not just in our sessions. Coordinating care is part of the work, not an add-on — because the more confident and relaxed you feel, the stronger you can show up for your child.

Behavior doesn't happen in a bubble
Before we try to change a behavior, we look at what's happening around it — the environment, the sensory load, what's being asked of your child, and what came before. Context first, always. That's the difference between a behavior plan and a behavior guess.
3
Learning happens in real life.
We use NDBIs (Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions) — evidence-based teaching that happens through play, routines, and everyday moments instead of flashcards and drills. Dinner, bath time, and the car ride home are the curriculum.

The ABC's of Behavior
Behavior doesn't come out of nowhere — it follows a pattern. We teach parents to spot that pattern using the three-term contingency, the ABC model at the heart of applied behavior analysis: what happened right before, what your child actually did, and what happened right after. Once you can see the pattern, you can see the function — the real "why" underneath the behavior. That's the skill we hand you, and it's yours for good.
Antecedent
What set it off
The moment, request, transition, or sensory trigger that happened right before the behavior.
Behavior
What actually happened
The specific thing your child did — described plainly, with no "good" or "bad" label attached.
Consequence
What happened next
What followed, and what your child got out of it — or got away from. This is your biggest clue.
See the pattern, and you can build a plan that actually fits your kid — not just one that stops the behavior on the surface.
